Dakar, Senegal, hosted the 10th General Assembly of the Association of Supreme Audit Institutions having in Common the Use of French.

Like many delegations representing sister Iscs, the Cameroon Court of Auditors (Cdc) participated in these meetings whose main goals were to adopt the financial report and the moral report, to assess the activities of 2022-2025 which saw the Aisccuf experience a resurgence of dynamism after a period heavily affected by the international health crisis.

Present in Dakar, the delegation of the Cdc was led by its president Yap Abdou. One of the highlights of the proceedings was dedicated to the renewal of the organisation's bureau whose general secretariat of the Aisccuf is permanently ensured by the Court of Auditors of France.

Following the election, Yap Abdou was gloriously elected as the 1st Vice-Presidency of this prestigious international organisation for the 2025-2028 term. More than a crowning achievement for the quality of his commitment within the Aisccuf, this election is the recognition by peers of the efforts made by the financial jurisdiction of Cameroon to carry out its missions in full independence and in a professionalism widely acknowledged by sister ISCs considering the quality of its work.

This general assembly, held from 9 to 10 April, also allowed participants to exchange views on audits of mitigation and adaptation to climate change as well as on the management of the quality of work within jurisdictional Iscs.
