The first meeting of the innovation committee of the Association of Higher Control Institutions using French (Aisccuf) is taking place from 5 to 7 April in Romania. The work will have the theme: "innovative methods for publishing the results of the activities of the ISC and the role of citizens in identifying audit themes".
During these three days, participants will follow two round tables. The first will focus on the theme ‘‘Latest trends in the publication of results from ISC activities. The experience of Francophone ISCs and good practices of the IDI’’, scheduled for Monday 5. As for the second, announced for Tuesday 6 May, it will cover ‘’ Good practices in cooperation between ISCs and civil society. From consultation to participatory audits’’.
Each round table will be followed by a workshop. Workshop 1 will focus on the " Citizen consultation mechanisms for the development of audit programmes: studying the different methods of citizen consultation (surveys, online forums, citizen panels) to involve the public in defining audit priorities. In this think tank, Nguetchueng Bertrand, Chief Clerk of said chamber, will represent the Court of Auditors of Cameroon.
Workshop 2 will revolve around the ” Communication and citizen engagement: how to involve the public in audit results? : defining innovative communication strategies to disseminate audit results to the general public and encourage citizen participation ”. As a speaker, Sadoa Arnaud Arnaud, Magistrate - Auditor, will present the experience of the Court of Auditors in this field.
For Monday 5 May, the opening ceremony was marked by numerous speeches, including that of Mihai Busuioc, President of the Romanian Court of Auditors, coordinator of the AISCCUF Innovation Committee.
