Between 2017 and 2020, the management of the Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (PDCVA) was marked by financial irregularities, ineffective internal controls, and questionable management practices, leading to the suspension of funding from the AfDB. The reorganisation of the fiduciary team in 2021 allowed for improvements, but weaknesses persist. This summary reviews the identified malfunctions, the corrective actions taken, and the lessons learned to strengthen the governance of public projects.
