The certification report of the general account of the State of Cameroon for the financial year 2024 details the audit of the financial statements of the State and results in an adverse opinion regarding the regularity, sincerity, and true and fair view of the national assets.
The main reasons for this opinion include significant and widespread accounting anomalies, such as abnormal account balances, the use of accounts not compliant with the nomenclature, and the incompleteness of the State's fixed assets.
The report also presents the certification methodology and detailed financial tables, noting a significant increase in financial and non-financial debts as well as uncertainties regarding the cash flow statement.
