In a landmark ruling made in the case concerning the mayor and municipal receiver of the municipality of Ngomedzap, the accounts chamber rejects the plea of incompetence raised by one of the parties. In making this ruling, the financial jurisdiction clarifies this issue arising from the conflict of laws and asserts itself as the only competent body regarding budgetary and financial discipline in Cameroon.
