Procedure 'Reception of works before execution at the Regional Hospital of Ngaoundéré: the verdict is known

Wednesday 30 April 2025

For violating the rules of expenditure execution of the State in the awarding of a public procurement contract within the management of the Covid Funds, the Court of Auditors has issued its decision against certain officials of the Ministry of Health in the procedure ''Receipt of services before the completion of the construction works of a hospital isolation building at the Regional Hospital of Ngaoundéré; payment before service of the same building''. This verdict, in accordance with the provisions of the law on the Code of transparency and good governance in the management of public finances, sanctions the management faults committed by public fund managers. It does not concern the criminal aspect of this case for which the Court of Auditors is not competent and which has been referred to the Public Prosecutor General near the Supreme Court.
